📌 This Privacy Policy has been updated to include our feature CrewConnect, and to clarify how payments, subscriptions, cancellations, and refund requests are handled when a membership is purchased through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. By creating or maintaining a CrewVIP account, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the latest version of our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, and that continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any future updates.

1. Information We Collect

  • Personal Information (Crew Members): Name, email address, phone number, airline/employer, profile photo, biography, city/base, and other information voluntarily provided by the member.
  • Payment and Subscription Information: CrewVIP does not collect, store, process, or have access to members’ full credit card details, bank details, Apple ID payment details, Google Play payment details, or full payment information. For memberships purchased through the mobile app, payments are handled directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We may only receive limited subscription-related information required to verify membership status, such as subscription type, renewal status, transaction reference, or access entitlement.
  • CrewConnect Profile Data: Profile photo, first name, airline, approximate location or city, and other information you voluntarily choose to display.
  • Personal Information (Business Owners): Name, business information, contact details, deal data, pictures, and any information voluntarily submitted when creating or managing an offer.
  • Technical Data: IP address, device type, cookies, usage logs, app activity, and similar technical information required to operate, secure, and improve the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver and improve the app and features, including CrewConnect.
  • To verify user eligibility and ensure platform integrity.
  • To facilitate interaction between crew members in a professional and respectful manner.
  • To display your public profile information to other verified users inside CrewConnect.
  • To send notifications, updates, or important communications.
  • To verify membership status, subscription type, renewal status, and access to paid features based on information received from Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • To understand usage patterns and improve user experience.
  • To protect the platform, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations where required.

3. Payments, Subscriptions, Refunds & Payment Provider Responsibility

CrewVIP memberships purchased inside the mobile app are processed exclusively through either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, depending on the platform used by the member.

CrewVIP does not directly collect, process, store, or have access to members’ full credit card details, bank details, Apple ID payment details, Google Play payment details, or full payment information.

All payment processing, billing, renewal, cancellation, refund requests, and payment method management are handled directly by Apple or Google. It is the responsibility of the member to manage their subscription, payment method, cancellation, renewal, billing issue, or refund request directly with the relevant payment provider.

No refund can be issued directly by CrewVIP. If a member purchased a subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, CrewVIP cannot cancel, refund, reverse, or modify the payment from our side. Any refund request must be submitted directly to Apple or Google according to their own rules, procedures, and policies.

Members are responsible for cancelling their subscription before the renewal date if they do not wish to be charged again.

Apple App Store subscriptions: Members can manage their CrewVIP subscription by opening the Settings app on their iPhone, tapping their Apple ID / name, then selecting Subscriptions. Refund requests can be submitted through Apple’s official refund page at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Google Play subscriptions: Members can manage their CrewVIP subscription by opening the Google Play Store, tapping their profile icon, then selecting Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Refund requests can be submitted through Google Play support or through the member’s Google Play order history.

CrewVIP may assist members by providing general guidance on where to manage their subscription, but the final decision regarding billing, cancellation, charge disputes, or refunds remains with Apple or Google, depending on the payment provider used by the member.

4. CrewConnect — Public Profile & Photo Visibility

CrewConnect is a networking and community feature that allows airline crew members to see who else is nearby or on layover and to connect in a professional and friendly environment.

When you upload a profile photo or complete your CrewVIP profile, you understand and agree that the following information may be visible to other verified CrewVIP users inside the CrewConnect section of the app:

  • Your profile photo
  • Your first and last name
  • Your airline or employer
  • Your country
  • Your age and gender
  • Any optional profile details you choose to share

Do not upload sensitive, confidential, or inappropriate content to your profile. You may edit or remove your profile photo or information at any time from your account settings, or request data removal by contacting us at contact@crew-vip.com.

5. How We Share Your Information

  • With other verified CrewVIP users through CrewConnect, according to the public profile visibility described above.
  • With verified business partners where necessary to provide crew-related offers or benefits.
  • With crew users when business promotions, deals, or offers are published on the platform.
  • With service providers assisting us with hosting, analytics, marketing, technical operations, legal compliance, or platform security.
  • With Apple App Store or Google Play Store where necessary to verify subscription status, payment entitlement, or membership access.
  • We may also share business names, pictures, and published deals on our social media platforms to increase our online presence and promote their business.
  • When legally required or when necessary to protect platform security, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, or protect our legal rights.

6. Data Security

We implement encryption, secure hosting, and industry-standard controls to help prevent unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure of personal data. However, no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

CrewVIP does not store members’ full credit card details or full payment information for purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

7. Data Retention

Data is retained only as long as necessary to deliver services, manage accounts, verify membership access, maintain platform security, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations. When no longer needed, data is anonymized or deleted securely.

8. Your Rights

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Withdraw consent or object to processing where applicable.
  • Request clarification about how your data is used.
  • Lodge complaints with a data protection authority where applicable.

For payment, subscription, cancellation, or refund requests related to Apple App Store or Google Play purchases, members must contact Apple or Google directly as described in Section 3.

9. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If we discover that an account belongs to an individual under 18, we will delete the relevant data promptly.

10. International Data Transfers

We may store or process your data in locations outside your jurisdiction with appropriate legal safeguards in place where required.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

By creating or maintaining a CrewVIP account, you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy and our Terms & Conditions regularly.

We may update this policy from time to time. We do not guarantee separate email notifications for updates. Continued use of the app after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

CrewVIP provides the app and services on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the platform, your reliance on information provided by users or businesses, or your interaction with third-party payment providers such as Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

CrewVIP is not responsible for payment processing decisions, refund decisions, billing errors, failed cancellations, renewal charges, or payment disputes handled by Apple or Google.

13. Business Owners' Use of the Platform

Business use of CrewVIP is entirely free. No charges, obligations, or hidden fees apply. Owners can cancel, modify, or remove offers at any time.

Additionally, by using our platform, you grant CrewVIP the right to use your business name, deal information, images, and promotional materials on our app, website, and social media channels to promote your business and increase our online presence. If you do not wish for us to use your image or promotional material on social media, you must send a clear email request to contact@crew-vip.com stating your objection.

14. Influencer Program Privacy & Legal Protection

The CrewVIP Influencer Program is optional. Participation is not employment and does not create any contractual or legal obligation between the influencer and CrewVIP. We are not responsible for any consequences, financial or reputational, that may arise from participation. Influencers provide data voluntarily and may opt out at any time.

Influencer-provided data, such as name, email, referral codes, and payment details, is stored securely and used only for tracking referrals and processing rewards. No banking or personal data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties except for payment processors acting on our behalf under strict confidentiality.

Referral earnings are only issued after successful verification of 10 valid registrations. Participation does not guarantee income, visibility, or success. Influencers are fully responsible for how and where they promote their referral code.

CrewVIP reserves the right to terminate influencer participation at any time without notice for misuse, abuse, or non-compliance. You agree not to hold CrewVIP liable for any indirect damages arising from participation in the influencer program.
